My name is Emilie, and I’m a passionate native French teacher with a true love for languages, education, and cultural exchange.
With over 10 years of experience, I’ve helped learners from around the world through online French lessons speak with confidence, always with patience, empathy, and dedication to ensure my students’ success..

My Background: a Journey Focused on Teaching and People
Where It All Started
My teaching journey began in London, where I lived for nearly five years. During that time, I worked as a French teacher in different contexts, and also gained experience as a private tutor, helping learners of all ages improve their skills through one-to-one lessons. Very quickly, I discovered how rewarding it is to see someone progress, overcome doubts, and truly enjoy learning a new language.
Teaching Around the Globe
Since then, I’ve worked with a wide variety of learners from all over the world: children, teens, adults, and professionals. Today, I teach primarily online via Zoom and Teams, working with students across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
My Qualifications
I hold the DAEFLE diploma (a professional teaching qualification from the Alliance Française of Paris), as well as a Master’s degree in Language Sciences, Communication, Marketing, and Business Administration.
These qualifications allow me to offer structured, effective lessons with flexibility and creativity.

What Are Lessons Like?
Every lesson is designed to be engaging, varied, and practical. Of course, we work on grammar and vocabulary, but always in context through real-life dialogues, texts, audio clips, and videos.
We’ll also work on pronunciation and intonation, so you can sound more natural and feel more confident when speaking.
Depending on your needs, we might read short stories, analyze articles, practice listening with podcasts or news reports, role-play everyday situations (ordering in a café, having a job interview…), or even write short emails or messages.
Each lesson is a blend of oral practice, listening comprehension, reading, and writing, all in a supportive and enjoyable atmosphere.

I truly believe that learning a language should be enjoyable and stress-free.
I create a supportive and encouraging environment, where you can feel safe to make mistakes because that’s how real learning happens.
